So what do you guys think?

I couldn't read it due to lack of proper grammer and paragraphs.

You spelled GRAMMAR wrong, plus if you're going to respond to his post, at least make it worthwhile.

I was thinking of the possibility of time travel also, but that wouldn't make it much of a prequel though... plus it's called "The FALL of Reach", I think we already know how the story goes...

They do not HAVE to follow the books, the created the game, they can make what ever the blam they want to.

wow...they are gonna follow the books. They helped right the books. They made sure the books fell under canon. They are NOT going to abandon the books...this would cause them to lose any credibility.

No,
please read the books. and there is NO time travel in the halo series.

Do your research. Stated in the December 13, 2005 weekly update

In 2552, SPARTAN-458's unit was preparing for a classified mission on Nassau Station when the ONI stealth ship Apocalypso tumbled into real-space being carried along in the wake of a freak slipspace anomaly. The anomaly intersected Nassau Station; creating a semi-stable "bubble" in the space/time continuum on its way back to the 21st Century. For the time being Nicole-458 is trapped in the 21st century; guarding Nassau Station's secrets with anything but lethal force (she realizes killing someone in the past could have dire consequences)and waiting for the "bubble" to collapse and hopefully returning her to the year 2552. It is unknown how Nicole somehow received Mark VI MJOLNIR armor along the way.

He said "in the Halo series", not "the Halo universe". As far as present knowledge is concerned he is correct, there has been no time travel in the Halo series up to this point, there may be, but none of us know for sure.

But! The books and the games aren't related...

I agree with everyone about how there's no time traveling. Besides, if he did time travel he'd know everything that's going to happen to him. Knowing this he'd know what's about to come his way and change everything for a better, quicker ending to the flood and Covenant.
