Halo 3 is for noobs. Gg NoRe.

It's all in the title. If I see more customization on different colors and armor I'm going to throw my xbox out the window. I know a lot of you are Halo 3 fans, but seriously wouldn't you rather have Bungie and Microsoft focus on core game play rather than who's going to spend hours changing their armor?

I don't care what vehicles, guns, anything. But I better as hell see that a kid who just started shouldn't be playing in the MLG circuit in 6 weeks. That's my 2 cents. Go back to the original. Quit the marketing scam.

As for now I'll go back to a company who has CONTINUALLY made great sequels with equal skill gap. Blizzard, War3: TFT

Agreed, although I know for a fact that won't be the case. Bungie is going to want to appeal to as many people as possible with this game, and if that means making it easy as hell to get good then so be it.

I'm having trouble understanding you here.
Are you saying you don't want the game to be intuitive and easy to get a grasp for?

Fix the Halo 3 BR spread, plz.

I completely agree. Hopefully they'll make the game like Halo CE where you can control all your actions.

~spread it on~

i agree with you to a point. i think the game should still be accessible to newbs and pros alike, but the ranking system should definitely separate the two groups. Maybe like halo 2 where pretty much anyone above 35 was pretty legit or a modder, but this time without the modders. :)

Yes, I hope to god I don't see every newbie with a 50 on Halo: reach. It's like why don't you give candy to a baby.

Halo: CE was still fun for newbs and a great game for competitors.

Halo CE was indeed great for newbies and for pros alike, as the game's weapons were fun to use and competitive at the same time. And besides, with a vast and efficient ranking system, no one should get butt hurt to lose since they'll be playing people who are about the same skill level as they are.

Exactly. Don't get me wrong I have loved and Halo 1 and Halo 2 like no one else. I've also competed in both games in the MLG Circuit. I've also played in the WCG for War3:TFT. I honestly tell you that Halo 3 is just like a fake, I don't even think it belongs in any of the tournaments.

Halo 3 is minimally competitive compared to Halo CE and even Halo 2. The fact of the matter is that is seemed like the only thing Bungie did to make Halo 3 more competitive than 2 is reducing auto-aim/bullet magnetism and removing hitscan. Even then, pretty much everything else they did was a step backwards in competitive merit.

Yea I agree. I mean now the majority of the Halo Population would rather see Halo: Zombies. It's mind blowing how much has changed... sad.

I'm delicious.

What he's saying is, he wants button glitches. That was the skill gap in Halo 2.

Quit whining.

That was the skill gap in Halo 2, but Halo CE's skill gap is much larger than even that of Halo 2, which I believe would be a lot preferable. A skill gap based on aiming skill and knowledge of the game.

What would you do if you were Shishka for 24 hours?

I can't help it. Your mom makes such a big breakfast when we wake up every morning.

I really hope that if it is in fact a whole new multiplayer, they stick to the quite difficult Halo 2 ranking system and help spread the skill out a little bit more. Heck, I was a thirty back in those days, but look at me now, multiple 50's and the feeling that I'm actually good at this game. I want a challenge, something that'll push me to try to get those higher levels.

What you're saying is that you want more colorful armor, more little kid marketing schemes, and more recon propaganda. What you're saying is that you want less skill, and more random kills to make the average 10 year old feel good about himself.

That was Halo 3. What's the matter? Didn't like Halo 1 and Halo 2 because it didn't have "Infection" or "Pirate Boats". Or maybe it was because you couldn't spend 5 hours in Forge making castles.

I bag if they're pissed so their super nerdrage brings me lulz.

I hope it has a large skill gap. I remember when I used to play halo 2 for countless hours because it was fun and competitive. I find it hard to play halo 3 for more than 2-3 hours at a time.

Are you -blam!- serious!? Bungie releases 2 KICK A$$ trailer and your whining about a SKILL GAP?!!???!!? WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM. It may have no online. Just campaign. But actually your skill isn't that important!

I'm pretty sure Microsoft paid or influenced somehow to make Bungie create Halo 3 to sell to the casual gamer, and this was Microsoft's influence to sell copies ect. This is why we see a somewhat weakened BR and a melee system that takes two punches, Melee and Lunging is what really irritates me about Halo 3.

Now that Bungie is its own I expect a lot more Halo 1 styled games, where there is a larger skill gap while stile being a balanced game, and Bungie taking a lot more risks than they would have in say Halo 2 and 3.

But I also think Bungie developers realize that the "hardcore" halo players wants a larger skill gap, and not have someone lunge and melee you twice to your death. I still can't believe that it takes exactly 12 BR bullets to kill someone or getting punched twice, that is still retarded to me. I really do hope Reach is the Halo 1 of its days, because no game has quite done what Halo 1 has yet, period.

Lol. This is why they made Halo 3. Just for people like you. Sigh
