Problem: Sierra 293 who (If you discount my first statement and believe Halopedia) is Nova/Noble One would have been after the chief. I kinda want to go with HP on this seeing as how they're right about there being only 150 origional Spartan 2's, 293 would have had to have been a later gen.
And there was nobody named Nova/Noble One in the book.
lol
You have a good point!
Although i think that destroyed ship may be a 'reference' to MC's....
Also.. if its Spartan 293 then it cant be time travel... So it must be them returning to reach.. MC must be approaching reach (in the current time line, just after Halo 3) while they are under attack from a force of somekind... The absence of the defense grid and only a handful of ships would indicate that it is in fact after Halo 3 and not before Halo 1 as the defense grid and ships were wiped out and the planet was glassed.. Hence why part of the planet is already on fire when a human speaks over the radio saying that there were 'new' contacts and him saying "What the hell was that"
REACH WAS GLASSED and we left it!Hmmm...True Reach was glassed, but they could have used terraforming. He does have a good point on the defense grid. Where was the damn thing?
We never saw the other side of the planet... meaning the covenant may have been on the other side...
LOL
