Phoenix is dead, long live Phoenix!
Is it?
I used the forum search tool, and it didn't return any results... So here it goes.
I must say the concept artwork and pre-release artwork for this halo prequel is incredible. Sitting here typing this post is amazing in itself because of the artwork... there is the planet on fire banner with the silhouettes of what I believe are a sangheili and some humans at the top, and there is the burning buildings to the sides, though chances are very high that they're from Halo 3: DOST.
When watching the trailer for the first time, a feeling came over me of awe at the artwork and the prevalence of it in my thoughts. I've been amazed at the art of the previous halo games, but this is, for me, the first time that it's been the prevailing thought on my mind, over the incredible story possibilities and all out "Woot Halo!" excitement. Even the image at Wikipedia (which was taken from the trailer) is incredable...
So point of this thread...
Discuss your opinions on Halo: Reach's artwork and style. (love the font by the way) and your opinion of the evolution of it and anything else to do with the artwork of Halo: Reach.
PS. I'm more excited about Halo: Reach than Halo 3: ODST, anyone else the same?
