I know that some Halo 2 weapons(Brute Plasma Rifle) are returning for ODST, but will the Assault Rifle, Mauler and Spiker++ appear in ODST?

I think I've seen the Spikers in the early teaser.

Self-proclaimed genius.
Roam the streets with a sign, "will love for false hope."

I'm pretty sure all the weapons featured in Halo 3 will return. Save for maybe a select few like the Sentinel Beam which may have absolutely no place in ODST's setting.

Another question, do you THINK that the needler will be as powerfull as in Halo 3 or Dual Wieldable as in Halo 2?

I doubt the Needler is getting any augmentation, though it was the most effective and balanced in Halo 1...

I thought there was no dual wielding in this game.

I'm 23, I have a house, dog, girlfriend, job and I have no interest in any fanboyism so if you're thinking about sending me a childish PM, don't be surprised when I don't call back.

Non facete nobis calcitrare vestrum perinaeum

Even if it goes slightly against cannon, they'll keep dual-wielding in, so as to not provoke a huge angry backlash.

and I thought thought that we weren't going to be able to use turrets.

Things seemingly have changed.

Although I say bad, I have to agree with you.

I don't believe we should dual wield as a Spartan should be able to handle the recoil, a trained human soldier like an ODST has no need to act like a hero instead of being professional.

I also do not believe that we should use support weaponry as they are generally bulky, heavy, and very uncontrollable. Mounted turrets, perhaps. But not dismounted ones.

And the Spartan Laser does seem a bit much for an ODST but is still believable. Especially since it was a feature used in Halo 3. I do not believe dual wielding and support weapons should be used as they break the realism and function of the ODSTs. But I doubt anyone cares about my opinion at this point, right?
