Subject: Forge, Screenshots, Theater in Halo Reach

My current setup: Custom built 360/PS3 portable gaming unit with built in Logitech X-540 5.1 speakers, Tritton ax-360 audio processing unit, 24" Sceptre 1080p 2 ms monitor, 8 built in USB's and 2 Built in 4" case fans with green LED backlighting.

It seems to me that forge, theater and screenshots have done so well in Halo 3 that it should be the standard in all halo games from this point on. I can't imagine playing a game of matchmaking and not being able to save the film or not letting the community adjusts maps the way they want. Hopefully all of these will be included again and maybe somethings improved upon like a more advanced forge mode and a theater mode that lets you skip right to the end without watching the whole game.

I guess we'll find out in the future but if this game doesn't have these 3 features I can't really see it taking me away from Halo 3 or ODST

I do not appreciate B.Net Group solicitation. If you ignore this and send me an invitation anyway, I will block communications with you.

Well, it wouldn't make much sense to backtrack, so I'm sure the features will return. Honestly, I hope that Reach is a new engine, and they build it from scratch again. The most frustrating part about Theater Mode in Halo 3 was the limited functionality in Campaign. Hopefully they can work that out with Reach.

it would never make sense to back track but the amount of work that went into making these features now has to be repeated in a whole new engine, not the easiest of job. Im sure bungie will do what is best for the community and make these features but if microsoft ever starts developing halo games without bungie im sure we can say good bye to this. Microsoft will probably just see them as a waste of money for the development.
