in http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vyTdBXsWsmo&feature=relate d video of the trailer for halo reach stop at exactly 17 seconds and look at the distant planet. do you see what i see? i see a ring shaped thing near it. possibly a halo. maybee this game will have some halo 1 in it. hopefully.

well if it is than why is it so thin and why is it off center. all planetary rings are on center with the planet. this one however is not.

Im pretty sure the Humans would know that there is a ring near their main planet besides earth... You are quite observants and it is odd but it probably isnt a "ring".

Wrong, learn the law of conservation and centripetal force. For example pluto's orbit does not have the sun perfectly centered in it, so it will pass through another planets orbit. Its the same deal with rings around a planet.

It is centered. You can see the shadow on the planet. Even if it isn't perfectly centered, it is art. It was drawn, it is fictional. Doesn't have to conform to your rules.
