No but there is also a reference to Reach in one of the new ODST trailers

Considering it's been announced as a prequel, I'm sure your theory will hold water.

At the end of an obvious statement you must put an obvious statement mark. It looks like this:

"The sky is blueisuck"
And
"This is a sentenceisuck"

Narwhal.

Maybe it is Reach before human colonization. You know, when the Forerunners were still there. He might have gone back in time, what if he went waaaay back?

Clearly because the desktop uses a 3 prong plug and a laptop uses a 2 prong plug, the microwave will fill your car with tostitos better

Reach was glassed directly before H:CE. Isn't the ship you start out on in CE attempting to escape from Reach?

Anyways, Reach won't take place after H3. It will probably take place right before H:CE. It wouldn't make sense to have chief go to a glassed planet and fight all on his own against a bunch of covenant that no longer matter if they are still there at all.

This would be a good time to point out that the US Government seriously did consider nuking the moon during the Cold War as a show of force. Project A119.

"A large explosion on the Terminator line would put the sun behind the mushroom cloud, making the explosion visible with the naked eye from Earth."

Then the US decided they'd just send in Neil Armstrong to land on it. Neil Armstrong - the one man on the earth that was considered a suitable replacement for a nuclear missile.

Actually, I'm pretty sure it happened on the same day...
