Subject: Silly question: Those outlines

Err, do I HAVE to have those outlines surrounding enemies and allies at all times? It seems like it might get annoying after a while...

I can understand it as some sort of night vision, and it seems like in darker areas it genuinely comes in handy. But I didn't really have any trouble seeing things in Halo 3, and having these outlines around characters in broad daylight seems kind of cartoon-ish.

Just a minor thought on my mind. Otherwise this looks better than I imagined. I love you, Bungie.

No it's just like zooming in - Its an option rather than a constant characteristic on the HUD

Brace for carnage, sweet sweet halo carnage :)

no thats just the new visor tech the ODSTs have to spot important things and enemies.

No it seems like its just a ODST HUD feature that can be switched on or off at anytime like the flashlight was in Halo: CE and Halo 2 (wait..is it in Halo 2.....or 3...don't remember)?

i think you do as it marks who is hostile and who is friend e.g. green around fellow ODST's and red around brutes
