if you listen closely or not even that closely in the video it will say orbital defense grid,well then it shows the planet and i did a side by side comparison and they are both very close to each other.
i think that the planet outside of orbital is reach,and i think that orbital is an orbital defense grid for reach.

That is true.

But Reach does have an extensive defensive grid, so there's quite a few stations similar to Orbital orbiting Reach.

straighten u both out reach has a orbital defense grid which consists of 20 mac cannons
and if you want more info the way some of he spartans died were defending the generators for these mac guns

I believe the Orbital space-tether-lift-thingammy is in new mombasa, and is the one from the ODST trailer.

Could be wrong though, i can't even remember what it's called

Orbital takes place inside the docking-station for the Quito Space Tether, a Space Elevator above South America that transports cargo and people in and out of the Earth's atmosphere easily.
