I'm sure many of you true fans of the Halo Universe remember back when it was ADVERTISED (never technically "promised" by Bungie but definitely advertised, so I'm NOT posting false information nor was I before because I NEVER said it was Bungie who "promised" all the time, so STOP abusing your power by blacklisting me and deleting my posts x Foman123 x because I'm not doing ANYTHING wrong...) to us numerous times that we'd be able to have Public Custom games after Halo 2, seeing the success it had on the entire community.

Just imagine it... Being able to SEARCH for other people's games through a specific search criteria. The people who say, "NO! It can't happen because searching would take FOREVER due to Forge creations!" Well, there's a simple solution for that...

---Have a simple search criteria to narrow down what you're looking for.

For example:

---Search for Default Maps
-----------------------(on these default maps) Search for TS/FFA/CTF, etc.

---Search for creations based on edited maps
-----------------------limit to certain gametypes
-------------------------------------------limit to number of players
---------------------------------------------------------------------l imit to level

AND... within those lists of maps that pop up on the player list, possibly a little default description on what has been edited so you can know before you join, such as weapon swap, vehicle swap, etc. In fact, I hate to mention it but think a little bit of Gears of War 1's player search and how you can see if people enabled weapons swaps.

Forcing the community to be limited to friends only for the intricacies of Custom Games is an overall negative to the gaming atmosphere, so I completely disagree with having ONLY a Matchmaking system to play with/against random people instead of choosing our if that's what we want.

Let's face it... Imagine what could have been if we were able to actually search for Public Custom games through Player Matches? I'll tell you one positive that could have came from that... Halo 3 would have NEVER been off the number 1 spot on the Xbox LIVE chart.

I can go on and on about this, but I'll continue to share thoughts throughout this thread. Thoughts? :B
