A long while ago, when the Xbox.com ODST page was still titled Halo 3: Recon, I remember seeing a short sentence that really caught my attention. It was this:
No Halo experience would be complete without groundbreaking multiplayer content, and Halo 3: Recon gives fans more of what they love. With exclusive new maps and expanded Forge options, Xbox LIVE® Gold members will find more multiplayer content than ever before with Halo 3: Recon.
Now that new info is coming thick and fast, I thought it might be an idea to bring it up again.
Posted by: Somebody. I guarantee it.
Pics or it didn't happen!
Now, I'm afraid that since the page has changed, I am unable to provide a link, but being the honest citizen I am, I feel no need to push this discovery onto you; if you don't believe me, that is perfectly fine, and I can understand why.
But looking back, I've realised that this is the perfect oppurtunity for Bungie to make some improvements to their game. Forge and Theatre, being new features, had some issues; not major issues, but issues all the same. I think Bungie would be silly not to exploit this oppurtunity and increase the Forge's potential.
Moreover, most of us probably remember that during the community group spotlights, one of the frequently asked questions was 'how could the Forge be improved?'. At the time, I saw this as a way to improve Sandbox, and it may well have been, but it could also be a part of Bungie's update and expansion of the Forge of ODST.
It's sad that Bungie squandered this opportunity to reintroduce Elites as enemies, but if this update isn't simply a mistake on the behalf on Microsoft, it will more than make up for it.
