To me, it seems as if their ability has gone down hill ever since the glory days of CE. While I still think that Halo 3 has a decent campaign, I found it too linear and redundant. This begs the question, do you think that without the focus of multiplayer Bungie can create a campaign that can stand up next to CE, or will this be $60 down the drain?

What do you think that Bungie would have to do to improve on the campaign from the last few games, and to possibly up CE?

Well seeing as this game is sort of open world, that may resolve the linearity issue when playing as the Rookie.

Who knows. I've seen plots far worse than Halo, so I am not complaining.

Floodians whom I'm in a love square with:

camer guy 65
D A F T (daft_punk)
Sacred Flea

I watch this on loop when I'm bored.

The Press Conference has proved to me that while the ODST story is not what we are used to, it delivers.

I think the way they are going with this campaign is a good one. You start out in the city separated from your comrades and you go out in search of them. You will find pieces that will launch you into flash backs of them and take control of their battles. You also lose all of the chief's gadgets in this game so it makes the fights more strategic. If this info is true than the game should do great and I think it might only be $40.

I think the campaigns in H2 and 3 are fine. Hopefully mixing stuff up with ODST will work. From E3 stuff it looks great.

Mike Lowery: [singing] Bad boys, bad boys what ya gonna do? What ya gonna do when we come for you?
[Marcus starts ad-libbing the first verse]
Mike Lowery: Dude, you gotta learn the words.
Marcus Burnett: We usually only do the chorus

Ive found every halo campaign to be hugely entertaining

The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

Why would I want a campaign like CE?

I want one like Halo 2.That was their pinnacle as far as campaign goes.
