Subject: Why ODST shouldn't be $60

There's actually quite a lot that's going into ODST if you think about it (on two discs by the way)...

-A completely new campaign and Halo experience with various changes to the gameplay
-Fire Fight mode, a separate Horde-like mode
-All of the Halo 3 multiplayer maps (original maps, Heroic maps, Legendary maps, Cold Storage, Mythic maps, and the last half of the Mythic maps)
-Various other "extras" hinted at during the ODST live demo
-A chance to unlock the Recon armour permutation
-A way into the Halo: Reach multiplayer beta

And who else knows what they haven't told us about yet!

I can see why those who have already bought Halo 3 might be angry about the $60 price tag, but if you haven't bought the game or if you don't have Xbox Live, ODST is a great bargain (down-side is that you won't have the original Halo 3 campaign). But how in the world would they discount ODST for all of those who purchased Halo 3 in the first place? Anyways, I think $60 is worth it for ODST since it looks to be a quality product (from what we've seen so far) with a generous amount of content that'll be incredibly fun for quite a while.
