This is a question a lot of people want to know is if this will be like Halo 3: ODST. A kind of add on extra campaign. Or will this be a new game. Like a Halo 4 a fully new multiplayer and campaign with new gameplay.

As Joe Staten said at the Microsoft Press Conference, there will be a Multiplayer Beta for those who purchase Halo 3: ODST. This tells us that it is a standalone Halo game, not a Campaign extension.

Yes but is it a Extensively new game or just a smaller project.

Like I said, standalone. Extensively new game.

KEEP IT CLEAN

Looks to me like a new game, not an ODST like project. Of course, I could be wrong.

I just don't see why Bungie would attach the beta matchmaking to ODST without the promise of a new game...

Anyway, why would there be a whole new matchmaking online experience without a new story and new game that reaches farther than ODST promises?
