Our ranks are stored online, so yes, we'll keep them. As for the vidmasters, once you complete the ODST ones you can get Recon, on the included disc or with Halo 3.

The second disk is Halo 3 Match Making, correct? I hope so, cause if this is so, $60 dollars for ODST will be worth it, Two games in one man!

Nope not correct.

The first disk is the Main Disk which contains Campaign, Multiplayer, The Forge and Theater. The second disk includes all 24 Maps (Including the Standard Halo 3 Ones) which must be copied to the Hard Drive for Matchmaking to work properly.

Nope not correct.

The first disc, yes, is Halo 3 ODST, featuring campaign, firefight, and the theater. The second disc is titled Halo 3 Multiplayer. It has every Halo 3 map, including all DLC and three new maps, and is essentially Halo 3 itself, with the campaign stripped out, it features forge, theater, and all the things Halo 3's multiplayer did. It will read your previously saved screenshots, films, and map variants, because it is essentially the Halo 3 disc with the campaign removed.

So, disc 1 - Halo 3 ODST campaign and firefight
disc 2 - Halo 3 multiplayer.

Yes, using the standalone multiplayer disc lets you play with people who are still using the regular Halo 3 disc.

This information is in an interview posted on bungie's front page.

No, you are not correct. The first disk is ODST, period. You get the campaign, Fire Fight, Theater, and Extras.

The second disk is the Halo 3 Multiplayer, Custom Games, Forge, Theater, and the like. This disc also includes the Mythic Map Pack 2.

No, you're wrong. At E3, they showed off the Main Menu of the first disk, and it's selections are:

Campaign
Firefight
Theater
Extras

So, Disc one is the Halo 3:ODST Campaign and Firefight. Disk Two will have the Halo 3 Multilayer with every single map,Theater and Forge.

Well, that about covers it.

I'm glad that Bungie is using the Halo 2 Maptacular pack idea for ODST. That's going to breath a sigh of fresh air to those who play LAN parties.
