Reach should have been expected a long time ago ever since the first person beat halo 3 on legendary. if you look at the planet that the hanger half of the UNSC ship Forward Unto Dawn is hurtling too you should see the whole planet is burning. a reference to what the arbirator said in halo 2, that he had set fire to the whole planet. you should also notice the landmass is the exact same in the trailer for Reach and the cutscenes in Halos 2 and 3.

Cry Havoc And Let Slip The Dogs Of War.

Agh Reach happens before Halo CE and not after Halo 3 OP.

i know i'm just stating we should have known Bungie was going to come out with reach

Maybe MC crash lands on Reach, the battle happened long ago obviously so maybe the story line is like Halo 3: ODST and planet is a Wasteland and MC must find away back?

Yea maybe we should of....but with Bungie you can never really guess or expect anything. They will always find away to shock and surprise us. Thats just one of the many reasons why Bungie is badass :)

that could be one of the two possibilities but if you saw the trailer it says you know the end now the beging so i think it would have to mean we start while Reach was first being attacked and the silloetts in the picture up top could be other spartans as the trailer hints. "we have spartans on the ground."

Armor Lock isn't overpowered. You just suck at Reach :)

Reach isn't bad, you're just a BK :)

For my gamertag, look up "Ghoulishtie"

Please read this to see if it would make sense :\

Signatures are for squares.

Its a play through of the book "The Fall of Reach", aka. "Reach Falls 2010". We know how it ends, so it's nothing new.

-You look like you could suck a golf ball through a waterhose.

Ok, Did you have a vision in this ending?

Hey look a random planet with a reflect of sunlight around it, it's telling me that Bungie is going to make a game about the Fall of Reach.....

Perfectly logical.

Anyway, back on topic, I didn't see this coming but im psyched that it is, I wanted them to make it ever since i read the book.

thank you your post is probably the most reasonable i have read i'm just stating that we should have expected there to be a Reach because of the little hint Bungie gives us during the legendary endings.

Everything will be gone long before me. When the first living thing was born, I was here, waiting. When the last living thing dies, my job is finished. I'll put the chairs on the tables, turn out the lights and lock the universe behind me when I leave.

That wasn't time travel, per se. More like time dilation.
