Honestly? The game is probably worth that price. If people are willing to dish out the money, you can't complain. You can buy used, rent, or even steal a copy if you're too much of a wanker to handle the price.
Yes, ODST does look sick; but what do we have here:
>> A short campaign, rumored (and I use that term objectively) to be shorter than Halo 3's.
>> Firefight mode. Not that hard to implement, and only added to 'be like the others.' (W@W, GoW2, L4D)
>> 3 new maps.
And before you argue about the Beta key; that's not included in the price--H3's was wrapped with Crackdown, and crackdown was a full-fledged game, and didn't experience a price raise. Essentially, the Beta is just an extra gift. I'd be willing to bet money that the price of ODST wouldn't drop if the Beta key wasn't included.
So, we're getting 75% (at most) new material, yet we're paying as if it was a brand new, 100% original content software title.
