Does anyone else not want the health system to change. I've been used to this one for years. Also its so annoying looking to pick up health packs. I was glad when Halo did away with them. Any thoughts?

Well having non-rechargable health enforces the idea that you can't run out guns blazing for every encounter because the damage you take has serious consiquences for your progression through the game, so I'd consider the change a welcome one.

Basically, I make the best topics ever.

Feedback!
Duardo: This thread is locked for being stupid.
cortana 5 : It's perpetually my time of the month and I'm just grouchy.
Foman: I see absolutely no reason, either theoretical or practical, that this is not a superb idea. Excellent work, my friend.

Yup plus now you have to remember where they are and save them up.

Actually, your health recharges in ODST.

Beware Qbix89! That master ninja will lay the smackdown on your troll thread!

Spiderstosh, Spiderstosh...does whatever a Spiderstosh does. Breaks the interwebs in his prime...guess who is....to blame this time? Spiderstosh...it is the Spiderstoooosh. -SonicJohn

its possible that ODST armor has a similar if not comparable system of bio-foam injection to mark vi armor, because as you know, your health does recharge over time in halo 2 and 3

Well considering the non-linear pace of the game I doubt that hording health packs will ever be that much of an issue, as it was in Halo 1 when there was only one course and a set number of caches along it.

Not quite. You have recharging "vitality" that work much the same way that shields did in the previous halo games that protects your main health bar from damage. Once that's gone, you begin to take damage much the same way you did in Halo 1.

its like bitter sweet...its a change from halo3 which like said before you could pretty much be like rambo and run into every fight without a problem (unless your playing legendary) so it will be nice to have a sort of tactical side to halo and having to watch watch what you do

Everyone's a pacifist between wars. It's like being a vegetarian between meals.

I'm cool with it. Run n' gun, while fun, gets old after a while. This'll make players think a bit longer about their tactics before each firefight. Or so I hope, I try to do this while playing co-op and my teammates just 'nade and go in guns blazing -_-'.

If I had a Rocket Launcher...

Shut up and get behind me... Sir!

The cable. I'm going to cut it.

Awesomeness would ensue.

Bungie, you're making me love you again.

I like that there's no shields, but I wish that they'd found a better solution that the traditional 'walk over and you're instantly healed' box. They could have at least had an animation of him inserting a biofoam can into a port on his armor or something to make it alittle more interesting. Also, the vitality thing seems kinda dumb, although maybe the game would be too hard without it, I dunno.

You're a fricking ODST not a Spartan.
and by the way, I personally miss the health pack system with Health and shields instead of just Shields now.

Drink up baby, stay up all night.
With the things you could do, you won't but you might.
The potential you'll be, but you'll never see.
The promises you'll only make.

I love health packs, makes the game more tactical.
And what do you mean you've been used to this one for years? Other games aren't necessarily the same, also, old Halo: CE players were used to their old shield system.

But anyway, the visor helps you look at stuff during the night, and it outlines anything of importance, so it wouldn't be hard to find medpacks.
