Subject: ODST move faster then Spartans?

now i know Spartans have 1 ton armor but they are genially enhanced so i think they would run faster. and i mean i think they would run faster when holding a turret.

go to 4:05 and you can see the ODST moves faster with a turret then a Spartan does.

i just want to know how the hell that is possible?

NO GROUP INVITES!!!

I think it was played on 2x speed or so.
But i noted that too, if it was normal, that's strange. How can an ODST even pickup a turret anyway?

It doesn't seem like he is moving fast to me.

well compare the ODST with the turret at 4:05 with the spartan here.

I'm fairly sure I've read somewhere that their suits enchance their strength.

ODST and SPI suits dont enchange anyones strength, speed, or anyother thing exept protection.

And I think that the speed is only a gameplay affect. So it would be funner, and better to play the game.

dident say that it was the suit that made Spartans fast, just that they have been genicly enhanced so they are stronger and faster. so if they are stronger and faster, u would think they run faster with a turret that an ODST

Also in Halo3, ODSTs cant carry brute shots. But in the trailer you see on the HUD, hold RB to pick up brute shot. I reckon they're all on steroids.

i dont see why this really matters.... im sure if the ODSTs moved slower with the turret, people would complain "i wanna move faster, im a sitting target." even if it bends the story a little, thats fine.

theres already bends in the fact that brutes have energy shields in h3ODST but not in h3... that the brute plasma rifle is in h2 and h3ODST, but not h3... that each pistol is different in every game, but only one at a time instead of all of them... that brutes, drones, and prophets are in h2 and up, but not in h1... you get the point

the point being in order to make a game fun and interesting, some things need to be altered.

Well actually I think that some of the changing of weapons are with the story line. Halo 3 ODST takes place during Halo 2 and before Halo 3. During this time, the elites haven't started their uprising yet. Maybe because the prophets wanted the elites forgotten, they replaced the brute plasma rifle...

No because they spartans are more faster because of the injections.

  • 06.03.2009 4:25 AM PDT

Monkey see, Monkey shoot.

Terry Pratchet - The Best.

The spartans can run insanly fast.

Anyway, as an ODST you are smaller, same speed? but because you are smaller it looks faster.
