Subject: ODST Controls?

I was just wondering what the controls for the game would be. I know we're months away from the final production, but I'm just curious (as are many other B.Net users). Will we still be able to use the same controls as in Halo 3? i.e. Bumper Jumper, Boxer, Green Thumb, etc. And also will there be new control configurations added?

I would think it would be the same, as no point changing from what everyone does.

Check out the new control device that was shown off at E3. It has not controler!!!

Drink up baby, stay up all night.
With the things you could do, you won't but you might.
The potential you'll be, but you'll never see.
The promises you'll only make.

I'm fairly sure it'll be the same with Halo 3's controller layouts.

If you've seen some of the gameplay, you would've noticed numerous times that the player had a chance to pick up weapons. And it asked the user to press "RB"(Right bumper) to do so.

Only thing that may change is the visor. I'm still thinking on what button would they use to change the visor.
Perhaps the D-Pad?

Im a Bungie veteran. I have and always will serve them well.

Bungie would not change any of the controls as of now. All I know is that they will have Default and Bumper Jumper.

NO GROUP INVITES!!!

"Back" activated PDA after you get the map of Mombasa. "X" was VISR.
I'd say otherwise the controls are same as in Halo 3.
ODSTs can't use any equipment. Bye trip mines :/

LB is used to do an action, like Dutch arming the bombs, RB I think is pick up weapons, and what Trap5b said is probably true too.

About me: I am a vicious wolf of a man.

But really am sweet at heart. =)

It seems you'll have the same control schemes.

In Joe Staten's gameplay interview you press RB to pick up and inspect things.

In the gameplay trailer how ever you press B

=) someone at Bungie uses Bumper Jumper!!!!!!1
