One day... I am gonna grow wings... A chemical reaction... Hysterical and useless... hystecial and let down and hanging around... crushed like a bug in the ground.

Ok so everybody know's that this game is almost certainly taking place in the battle of reach 2552.

But the details a very vauge.

In the Traliers Transcript it clearly states this:

This is Sierra 259, weve got SPARTANS on the ground sir.

Spartan 259? What

There were only 150 Spartans originally planned.

Well there were two classes of Spartan II's the secound was originally planned to be conscripted right after Class 1's graduation, but it was postponed.

The number of Sqauds of Spartan II Class one is odd

Blue, Red, Green, Gray, Black Team Usaully Spartan's would operate in sqauds of 4 or 5.
There were 30 Spartan II class I's.

So approximatley there were 25 Spartans allocated to known sqauds but the rest, there were many other Spartans whoose squad is not acually known there were acually 10 of theese meaning that meaning that one of the teams listed above were from class II.

Now I belive that this team is Spartan Black Team, the members of Black Team are unknown.
But this is where the twist comes in, on the front cover of Spartan Black issue I, (Which is Balck Teams on Comic Series) Balck team is seen wearing Mark VI armour? But this takes place in August 2552 just a little after when Class One was getting Mark V.

Who would be perfect candidites for testing Mark VI Class 2.

Spartan Balck is about a group of stranded Spartan 2's in black team.

Now in the Reach Trailer 259 might be anouncing that his team has got to Reach indicating that he may be in the newly escaped Black Team.

Now youre probaly asking were the -Blam!- did Black Team get Mrk VI from.
Black Team was aspecially affilitrated with UNSC Naval Intelligince, were like Gray Team, secret and behind enemy lines and kicking, perfect Spartans to be eqiuped with the armour.

The only trouble that is obvious on my threoy here is on the Halo Reach banner there is 5 silouettes, possibly James or Joshua was found, I dunno but this is my take on Reach.

Also The Series (Spartan Black) is set to be realeased in Winter 2010 which is suspiciously close to Fall 2010.

I love the entire Halo series, Halo 2 being my favorite of the games. I think that the universe is compelling and the story is deep, sweeping, and powerful. The hidden layers in the Halo trilogy and rich details of the backstory in the novels are something I love to be lost in, and im greatly looking forward to the story that Halo: Reach will weave. Bungie has carefully and lovingly crafted a mythic tale that will stay etched in my mind until the end.

to tell ya the truth, i really dont know any of this, at all. ive never read any of the books. Id like to, but i just havent yet. And i think it is silly to have to read the books to even know 20% of the amount of background information that the actual video games rely so heavily on. You have to read the books to even know that Master Chief was once a conscripted child, hell, Master Chief could be a robot for all i know if i never heard anything about the books. In my opinion, the Halo Trilogy has a great storyline, but i also think at times that Bungie messed up hard by not including a few more details and background info into their actual games. It could never hurt at all to include more references and short explanations in the Halo video games to provide the audience with a greater understanding of what is taking place.

That is a long Reach but if you read Fall of Reach the Mark VI was a prototype around the time of Reach and that some of the spartans on the ground with Dr. Halsey got parts of the Mark VI to upgrade themselves. If they had Mark VI before they jumped out of the Pelican maybe more of them would have lived and that some of them wouldn't have sustained broken bones.

Edit: Spelling Error. Also see what I did there?
