Hey

So my xbox broke last week and I thought I would play some halo 2! anyway I played the level Metropolis in case you didn't know, this level ends with the prophet of Regret causing the slip space so he/she or whatever can escape. :)

During the cutscene keyes request permission to engage the escaping cruiser but is at first denied by 'lord hood' he states "Negative, Commander. I'll vector two heavies for starside intercept". I believe this could be two ODST battalions to drop in on the cruiser?

So I now think that bungie had this game planned long before halo 3 was released? or atleast used this to link the games :)

what do you guys think?

Drink up baby, stay up all night.
With the things you could do, you won't but you might.
The potential you'll be, but you'll never see.
The promises you'll only make.

I think they didn't "plan" this before release.

They prolly just picked it up from a random part of the game.

Im a Bungie veteran. I have and always will serve them well.

I really don't think Bungie thought about making ODST as a sub-game after halo 3. However, I can believe them holding off Mombasa for future plans.

I think school boys should keep their ideas to themselves.

Lets see, a small ODST drop pod vs a Covenant carrier with shields.

Hmmm.

They act all big and tough when their on camera with their friends and their guns. But when you break into their house in the middle of the night and stick a gun barrel in their face. They cry like babies and and piss their pants.

By two heavies she meant something more then her puny little frigate. As in a larger UNSC ship, though dropping ODSTs onto the carrier is a bad idea, would they not slide right off the shields? I think they meant to land near it not on it.
