Plekpedia - The most epic site in the history of ever.

Heck I hope not.

if you moved the gun off to the right of the screen you could keep looking around the that direction until you pointed back at the screen, so you could turn around quite easily.

I thought about this... then I thought about the "Switch grenades" issue... Would i just grab my crotch and hope to high heaven I switched to a plasma nade???

Motion control is overrated.
THe interesting part of natal is facial and word recognition

Look! A distraction!

Oversight: How would you turn around and still see the screen?

Rearview mirrors.

In all seriousness, though, I would prefer to wait to see Halo on Natal. Possibly on the second generation of it, once the first one has been abused by everyone and Microsoft knows how to improve it and whatnot. Too bad Nintendo didn't get this first, imagine Zelda with something like this if it could work properly...

Don't think it could work... aside from aiming your gun, everything else would be a pain; walking, changing grenades, throwing grenades, jumping, and picking up weapons. Hell, changing weapons would probably suck.

Halo will remain as the most hardcore game not a casual game. This is why there is no halo kart or other stupid ideas.

Lol what are you talking about. One of Halo's great attributes is that you can play in a range of intensities. Hardcore = MLG, SWAT, Snipers. Everything else = casual. That is why this game has such a broad range of players, and why there is so many "Hardcore" Generals who laugh at "Casual" Staff Captains; each are playing the game for entirely different reasons yet still enjoying it for the reliable and consistent gameplay. bnet forums are so funny.

I agree. The greatest strength Halo has is that it can be scaled for any level of play.
P.S.- I have almost earned my bars as a staff captain but I find snipers is the easiest (or at least the most laid back) gametype.

i woke a bit ago and my son was playing halo 3 he was on forge i saw at the bottom of the screen was a charge for 35 dollars is that real or not did he charge 35 bucks or is that justfor the in game

-NO RECUITMENT MESSAGES PLEASE

It might be included as an option, especially in Forge (if Reach in fact HAS a Forge). As was said, manipulating objects with your hands, provided Natal is sensitive enough (it does look it) would be awesome.

However, the main gameplay element of Reach will NOT focus on Natal. Mainly because the game is already semi-developed, and Natal doesn't even have a release date, implying it's a LONG way off.

Reach will be out before Natal even has a release date.

The interactivity thing would be cool, as well as the menu-scrolling, but I wouldn't want to jump around as a Spartan - that would be weird...

A33 WIL ALWAYS OWN HALO 3!!!!

yea FPS would be fails and fighter would be tight like if u had to say ur commands at ur tv by yelling GRENADE! then some random person walks in that would be ghetto but yes fighting would be good unless u got shoes on and they fly off and hit ur tv then they got some problems like the wii haha yea FPS=fail on natal/racing

If you go to gamespot.com they have an article that says "Epic and Bungie, on Natal?". But i hope Bungie does not do a Halo game for it, maybe something else but not an FPS.

  • 06.04.2009 3:42 AM PDT

I'm 25 year old engineer and I like Halo.

I was quite curious if Bungie was going to implement this into Reach as well. I assume you would have to option to toggle in on or off in the controls menu if it was available.

  • 06.12.2009 2:11 PM PDT

But what if you were to use natal with the halo vr helmet which would totally put u in the game and as for as not feeling like a fps i think they have thought of that and will incorporate ways that will work and make gaming even more intense just think you guys probably didn't even think no controller was gonna be possible until natal just give it a chance i bet it will pull through and when it does i will tell Sony to Eat It!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bungie has no knowledge of how to put Nato into a game. Second off there is no confirmed FPS that I am aware of that will use it. I know for a FACT that Microsoft would NOT risk Halo: Reach by making it the first FPS Nato game.

I'd love to be a 10 year old and tell my mom I'm going on an adventure out into the world catching Pokemon, with her full support. Never mind the fact that there are rapists, criminals, and murders out there, or the fact that I may get killed by a Pokemon.

Luckily I have Pikachu.

No it won't, the fact that the multiplayer Beta won't be using natal is proof enough.
