After a while in firefight, you will start to run low on ammo, so where do you get more? Maybe there's some hidden around the map, maybe you have to start using plasma pistol...

I think it would be super cool, if at the end of every round (or maybe even during rounds) a pelican would fly overhead and drop weapon pods filled with some lovely human weapons. If you don't know what I'm talking about, play "The Covenant" and wait for the pelican before you enter the first tower.

I think that this would also be a nice way of respawning if you die. You have to wait for the round to be over, and then your shiny new ODST arrives in a Pelican with lots of lovely weapons.

They should also carry Mongeese... LOTS of Mongeese!

EDIT: Forget the Pelican spawn idea, I just remembered, WE GO FEET FIRST! If you die, you could respawn in a drop pod as it lands by your base. I love how the doors pop off when you exit, so maybe you could wait for an enemy to get near, then WHAM! Door in the face! Achievement unlocked: Door to door failsman!

I think you just start out with the same amount of ammo at the beggining of each round. You're would probably get more stuff for the further you go.

I guess it depends on the level. The one shown at E3 doesn't look well suited for vehicles, other than the wraiths shooting you at the bottom of the steps.

Live Free, or Die!

During the demo they say that some of the maps are for vehicles and they mention specifically the warthog.

I like the idea but without a mongoose

Sweet. I'm sure the Warthog is definitely going to be destroyed at some point, so it would be nice to know that the UNSC can hook you up with a new one mid fight.

Memento mori.

I'm pretty sure there's just ODST-specific weapons lying around that respawn, similar to MP maps. Cool idea, though.

According to Security Zone, Or whatever it's called,

All the weapons appear to be in a base hung on a wall.
They Probably are just going to respawn, Instead of spending a long time for an animation not many people will care about,

but it would be cool.

Here’s what Luke had to say about the differences in treatment between the Spartans and Elites in Reach:

“Instead of piece-by-piece customization like the Spartans, Elite customization is a full model swap with models selected from the various Elite classes appearing throughout the Campaign. There are all kinds of reasons for this, not the least of which is our continued emphasis on the Spartan as your identity in Reach.”

They picked up weapons from racks at the back of the map. If they respawn, then they will respawn there.

They also talked on the podcast about running out of ammunition against 4 consecutive waves of Hunters. That could mean that you need to find ammunition.

I did notice that you find weapons on the wall. Maybe there's a cool animation of new weapons "coming out" of the wall. There would be a problem if you went on for many rounds, and the map just got covered in drop pods.

Imagine drop pods falling at your head and killing you, lol.
I´d be totaly impresed if you don´t receive more weapons and ammo doesn´t respawn at the end of each round, forcing you to use Covenant weapons making Firefight more realistic.
