Subject: Could there be a new Arbiter in Halo: Reach?

Well could there? Halo: Reach is after the events in February, 2531, and before the events October 20, 2552. Could it be possible that there was an Arbiter during the past 20 years?

EDIT: Their is an Arbiter who fought in Reach (*proof*). Special thanks to Halcylon for actually looking for some information.

Not that it's known, but I hope not. I'd like to see our regular pre-Arbiter Arbiter at some of these battles.

Long live the Last Refuge!

Yes there had to be, the covenant always has a arbiter with only a few days or weeks in between the death of the old one and the selecting of the new one.

He's a Shipmaster at the time, I doubt that he would go into battle just for the fun.

True, but it would be interesting to see him in some Covenant-sided cutscenes to show what's going on in their side.

I really hope we get to play the Covenants side in this game. It would be so fun going into battle with a large Covenant loyalist force and fighting Humans.

It's not likely though, never have you been put against Humans in any of Bungies game for some reason. =/

I'm sorry, Dave. I'm afraid I can't do that.

I think you play as different Spartans in the game.

As long as there has been the covenant there have been arbiters. It is an elite that performs special tasks, suicidal tasks.

There are those who said this day would never come. What have they to say now?

All of this, including the genre and nature of the game is unknown. Who's to say that its a prequel and even more whos to say it will be a first person shooter.

Basically, i wonder on the nature of speculating upon characters of a game which, put simply none of us know anything about.

It would be also awsome if we get to see Half-Jaw in Halo: Reach

Well, according to that link to Halopedia posted by the OP, there's an Arbiter that fights at the Fall of Reach. Also, the Elite that becomes the Arbiter in Halo 2 & 3 is the commander of the Covenant Fleet that attacks Reach.

Wait, whats that? Oh, thats just the sound of no one caring!
And watch where you point that thing next time!

I like how people just believe what they see on halopedia when there is no proof backing it up.

Also helps to read the Halo novels, so all in all there's a fair chance of an Arbiter being in the game. However, all we can do is speculate at this point.
