Halo 1 had gread gaming experience. It was not just some exhaust running, the levels were big and you had to do missions in them, not just follow one path. Also beatdowns and other -blam!- were much better. Just make it like Halo 1 Combat Evolved, but with next gen graphics and physics.

Multiplayer needs new netcode. Why dont make thing like client/client netcode, where no one is hosting. Everyone hosts and sends information to others about the match. Like try warrock or sauerbraten, no matter what ping you have to other players, you dont lag. Server/client netcode on p2p is soo laggy and bad, dont do it again!

so what do u think people.?

I agree with you concerning the campaign experience in Halo CE. It fealt more like you were in a sandbox environment where you could attack any problem from different angles. H2 and H3 fealt as though you were engaging in a scenario which you had to play out in a predetermined manner.

As far as the Halo netcode, which seems to be the source of most of the problems we experience in matchmaking; David Aldridge is your man. He was hired after the release of Halo 3 to improve the network code in matchmaking and I believe he is the first programmer hired by Bungie who specialises in this area. I would expect Halo: Reach to have far fewer issues and a smoother online experience than the previous games.

In Halo 3 the campaign feels like a one way road. Like you have no choise what goes on. In halo 1 and 2 it feels more open.

I agree, but there is one thing I didn't like about CE, and that is the lack of dual wielding. I don't care how unbalanced it was, firing two automatic guns at once was bad ass lol.
