You don't kick a man when they're down, so don't teabag me when I'm dead!
I would like something like forge, but with the following differences:
- More time put into it. Make it less of an afterthought
- Some kind of undo, redo, copy, paste etc. system.
- Maybe an option to 'freeze' objects in place, making the physics of the map ineffective on them during the forging session (that way we won't have to rely on the 'save&quit' glitch)
- I want my cool movable objects from High Ground back in the heavy-editor maps! Maybe more of the movable objects from campaign (under a section of the menu called 'Campaign')
- Right off the bat, I'd like a free Sandbox-style map. No-one touched forge when Halo 3 first came out, and this could be the same here if you limit us again
- One of those Sandbox grids on every map that has large area(s) so we can align our creations well
- An option to turn an object through 90 degrees as well as the manual adjustment
- A 'cheat code' that lets you see the propertiess of the object you're holding in your HUD (e.g. Z/Y/X-axis rotation, height from ground etc.)

Even though this is just an assumption/hypothetical thread, there are still haters out there that'll say it won't happen. So in the case of "this will never happen shut up", Why shouldn't Bungie include another map editor if it has added hugely to Halo 3's success? (including in custom games, sucj that Bungie can effortlessly edit maps for MM and such that the community can create maps which can be added into MM). It didn't cost them much extra to develop it, and at the least I'm sure they'll just include the old forge editor.
So, post what you'd like to see!
