My theory: I think that Spartan 259 and 320 are part of the Gamma Company S-IIIs.

[Spartan-III Roster:
Team Gladius KIA Found deceased after several days of fleeing from Sentinels.
Team Katana - Inside of Slipspace Field Pods, the shield world Onyx. Currently traveling with the surviving Spartan IIIs/IIs
Team Saber
Holly-G003 - KIA
Ash-G099 - Active in Shield World
Dante-G188 - KIA (MIA/WIA)
Mark-G - Active in Shield World
Olivia-G - Active in Shield World
Other 315 Gamma Company S-IIIs are NOT MIA, they´re still out there, because they left before Onyx was attacked.]

Long live the Last Refuge!

This could be true but they would say G259 not just 259. However it does make sense considering that the only other expiation is a second generation of SPARTAN-IIs. Which according to Mendez doesn't exist or they weren't trained by him.

No one knows where the rest of Spartan III are, so they might be assign to retake Reach, or at least what is left of it.

Signatures are for squares.

THERE WAS NO SPARTAN IIIs ON REACH.

SPARTAN-259 is a SPARTAN-II Commando

This takes place AFTER Halo 3 so no it's not a SPARTAN lll. Halo Reach takes place after Halo CE.

Fix'd.

Nope, Reach takes place before Halo CE.
In the middle of the battle of Reach, the Pillar of Autumn ran away from reach.
Made a random jump and landed on Halo.

The first battle or Reach was on 2552 the SIII Gamma Company were biological augmented in 2551, so they were running behind the show at that time, and because they are not public, no one had say a word about them until now.

Not necessarily, That is a page on a wiki, which can be edited by anybody who signs up. Also, there is no basis for this information, so until there is absolute proof from the trailer, at this point in time anything is possible.

Spartan III's were never on Reach. This is the main battle of Reach and then possibly a few battles after but we do know that we will fight in the main battle most likely. If there were spartan III's they would team up with the other 20 something spartans and help them defend the generators, which they didn't do because they weren't there. Read Halo: The Fall of Reach, it will help you out a lot. The Spartan 259 says, "We're not going anywhere." This refers to John's order to the Spartans to protect the orgital MAC generators at all costs from the Covenant.

Edit: The Spartan III's were NEVER released to the public, not even the other spartans so they definately wouldn't be on Reach. Also, they wouldn't come in a group of 5 more like 300. Which they never did.
