To be honest I really don't want a bunch of random different shoulder armors. I think that they should just either have the armor that we will be using in the story or just add all of the 'official' armor suits.
The Mark V, VI, and possibly, IV depending on whether or not that is the armor that will be used even though it really wouldn't make sense dut to the time.

The events at Reach (I assume the game pertains to the destruction of it) and the events of Halo 3 are only a couple months apart, if that. I see no real reason to leave out the other armor variations based solely on that.

I Love Lamp. And Ender's Game. Don't tell Lamp.

i think the spartan III SPI armor would be cool

...Selling the A-bomb perfume. Whatever that means.

I think it might be nice to have armor permutations give gameplay effects... and be available in both Campaign and Multiplayer. Depending on the rest of the game, they could even be required for certain parts of certain missions...

The events of Halo Reach take place years before halo 3.

The time difference is no reason to not include different armor variants.

No, the battle of Reach takes place only a couple month before Halo 3's events.

That is very interesting... only months apart?!? Dang... I see how that is but I never realised it... that almost makes me sad :(

im thinking that not just different armor perms should be a part of the game but the addition of newer characters to choose from in multiplayer could be expanded

you may be able to be an ODST or possibly a brute

i know nothing of the book that this story belongs to but newer characters and more armor perms would be a great addition to the game

with this in mind, during the campaign you might be a spartan during one mission, an ODST during another, along with some missions as an elite and others as a brute

this game seems like it has a ton of potential to bring us new and exciting things that we have never seen in the halo series we know

I always thought about that, when first really started playing halo campaign. (which is Halo 3)
they need to be more versatile. more characters to choose in the multiplayer like you said, would be good to the series. well, Bungie did put Sgt. Johnson as a character if we pre-order ODST, so they'll probably put more characters or better Armor in Reach.
