If you can read this, you are looking at my signature

when I play halo 2 Vista online/offline on big maps there's always lagging even when I'm offline, my graphics card handles Far Cry 2 with ease and I have tried other resoultions than what i'm currently using, is it my RAM or Graphics-RAM that's too small (2gb and 512mb)?

(you dont know->dont post)......

I'm there but, man this is really starting to sound like communism.
Long live the MAW.

Halo 2 Vista was a half-assed port. It's been said many times that the requirements for the game is ridiculous for what it looks like.
What makes it worse is the limited settings, so you can't adjust the game to run smooth under your conditions.

I've run H2V smooth enough on 2 gb of ram and a Nvidia 9600 GT OC 512 mb. So it should handle the load since I ramped mine up to max settings.

I would say start by checking your graphics drivers for updates if you haven't already. Otherwise, the only other thing I did differently than defaults was I used the -novsync command line argument.

I will agree that there are quite a few problems with the way that MS manages things with this port though. Some reason they disabled my product key so rather than bothering with getting another copy or making a pricey phone call to MS, I'll just wait for Halo 3 to come out for PC.
