I feel that it is sort of a rip off that those who have bought the maps in the past still have to pay the share of the price for those same maps again.
Part of that 60 something dollars goes for buying the maps once more.

The same thing with that new Gears 2 expansion in July.
Part of that $20 will go toward the old DLC maps some have bought. Myself included.

I know this isn't Bungie's choice and is to be expected from M$, but still...
It's a bit cheap. Although it might not be much, why buy something twice?

Good players work together...and no matter how good you are, you're not physic. - blade6321

The maps are mostly for those who don't have XBL but still enjoy multiplayer. And they in all honesty couldn't justify a 60$ price tag for just an expansion with the new firefight mode. And didn't they cancel the Gears expansion, or was it only the retail version?

Besides its a matter of patience you could have bought all the maps and play them instantly or you could have waited months and months to get them for free. Sometimes its better to wait. And sometimes its better to just spend the extra cash and enjoy something sooner.

Mythical Group

There is no greater catharsis than arguing on the Flood.

Gee, and the campaign, firefight, new maps, and extras are worth less than forty dollars.

i would have to agree especially if you pre-order your copy of ODST, they should take the $10 off the price of the game when you pick it up, sounds fair to me

Yea I definitely think that it's cheap, but I'm not gonna go complaining about it when we still get a new campaign and game mode (which both look insanely awesome) and three new maps. It would be nice to have it lowered though. :/

It's like if the Fanta girls and the the cast of Girls gone Wild participated in a remake of Labyrinth that takes place in a crackhouse version of Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory where the sugar is cocaine, the candy is crystal meth, and the chocolate is LSD*takes a breath*and the goblin king became the gummy bear king.

or the extra 20 is going to halo:reach
