Either way we don't have to argue about it. It is just a find. Nothing to get too excited about but something interesting all the same. Whether or not it has anything to do with the game is unknown, and if the Spartans keep the same call-signs that they had in the trailer then it definitely cannot be them. So we will see.

F U ck the Police and Covenant

I agree with xZcNx MarcWagz Grey team is not in halo wars cause Grey team is Adriana Jai and Mike. Red team in halo wars is Douglas Alice and Jerome. And they don't keep the call sign only Grey team keeps it because they are special.

Recent K/D ratio 2:1

Recent games is either 1st or 2nd place mostly.

Yes because those 5 spartans managed to hide out in the wild for all those years and managed to get themselves some MJOLNIR and some how ended up in the battle of Reach.... Not to mention they would not have been able to go through the steroid and growth process.

I COMPLETELY agree. it was exactly what i was thinking. but the first guy i thought may have been James. didnt he lose his arm for a mechanical one? and get sent off into space trying to destory that ships data in FoR? but i liked your argument of Will. as for the spartan next to Linda, yes, i agree with linda, but not because of a second in command. zoom into his hand. its a knife. clearly mentioned and throuoghly talked about in Ghosts of Onyx and i think the end of FoR.

Did no one remember Halo Onyx? Kurt was presumed KIA, or, following the "Spartans Never Die" propaganda, he was MIA. But, was he really? He was re purposed to train the Spartan III's. So, with the knowledge that ONI is willing to extricate Spartans, wouldn't it be possible that those five missing spartans in the woods were also taken by ONI?

Or, as mentioned in the previous post, if you read Halo: The First Strike, the book goes into detail about the splitting up of red and blue team and the subsequent action on Reach. Halo Reach could simply be a video game "based" on the novel Halo: The First Strike and Fall of Reach.

Thoughts?
