Nothing is better than gaming through the day, into the night, then back into the day. It's like when you finally push that power button you feel like you've accomplished nothing, but at the same time, you can't stop smiling.

It'll be cool to wear it for a few games, but it will be even worse than the Hayabusa armor. Everyone's going to wear it.

I have a feeling you are both underestimating the difficulty of the upcoming vidmaster achievments...

  • 06.03.2009 9:27 PM PDT

i guess i want to have all the armour perms but really i could care less, i just wear the default anyways. I will be to buisy playing ODST to care.

good point, it we have no idea about the "road to Recon" achievements, we might have to jump through digital hoops to get it, in which case, it will still be pretty special.

  • 06.03.2009 9:30 PM PDT

i don't like it at all.

it should stay as something not everyone can get easily. (which, regardless of the difficulty of the achievements, anyone can do them)

i wish it was given out less than it is today, even.

hell, i think it'd be better if you only got it by doing something mind blowing, where Bungie looks at the screen and goes, "THAT is why we made Halo"

when (not if) i do get it, i'll still stick to the ODST helmet.

I'd wear it sparingly, like if no one else in that game had it, i would use it, that, and if i got it before any of my friends, cause i'm not above bragging

Headshot... Sticky sticky... Headshot...Stab...Evade Stab Sticky Stab Stab evade Sticky Stab Headshot Sticky Sticky!

i heard about one vidmaster acheivment for ODST that you have to complete the Halo ODST campaign using only melee on legendary... so not EVERYONE will have it and it will STILL be special

Who cares if it isn't special anymore. I like the way it looks. It's special status is just an addition to it.

im wondering what bungies new "your awsome, hear you go" gift/prize will be

  • 06.04.2009 8:18 PM PDT

I believe that was a joke as they would have no real way of tracking it.

  • 06.04.2009 8:19 PM PDT

i would wear it, i think it looks intimidating, plus, my GT is RECON 776 (not for that reason, i've had this name since early 2003-4) and it'll make sense for me to wear it.

is it not just a little embarrassing when you get into a game, and see five other people wearing the same armor as you?

  • 06.04.2009 8:21 PM PDT

I feel like people should stop making these threads

how about this one, if they make recon only slightly more available, should they replace it with a new, insanely difficult to get armor. sort of like how recon used to be?

  • 06.04.2009 8:26 PM PDT

I just want the chest plate; that looks best to me.
So, yeah sure, I'll try and get it, but I'm keeping my other gear.

Eat raw meat.
Punch a bear in the face.

If you don't know who I am, the feeling is mutual.

I hope that everyone gets it and hates it, cause I hate it when I'm wearing the exact same armour as everyone else. (That's why I never wore Hayabusa and why I'm refusing to wear ODST.)

My problems [with Reach] are basically just full parties, mlg, and people who go out of their way not to get killed.

Not everyone is going to wear it because not everyone is going to get ODST. It's that simple, ladies. I'm going to wear it because how I see it... Bungie is giving us Recon for being loyal Halo fans. And that's what I am.

I merely want the left shoulder to better replicate the look of mickey and romeo, other then that I will stick with my scout chest, ODST helmet, and Mark IV/EVA Right Shoulder

Reach needs to be patched. It's the truth.

I bet everyone will be running around with the helmet. I'll just be wearing the shoulders and chest.

Hayabusa fails btw

Viper Skills,
well put. I guess you're right about a gift for sticking with bungie. still just a little odd though.

I would like to invite you to the most active group there is, Black Water Ops.. Boasting over 3,700 members this is one of the fastest growing groups and proven to be one of the most active b.net groups. An amazing experience awaits you with weekly game nights, photo contests, and forging contests. This is one decision you won't regret.

Recon seems pretty cool but when you think about it the only (or majority) reason people wanted it was because it was something very few people had and now sometime after September 22 2009 whenever you boot up halo and go into matchmaking you'll see every prepubescent kid acting so cool because he has it, and shortly afterward everyone won't give a flying -blam!- about it.
