You can be neutral. Neutral means you don't have to pick sides in an argument. Also knows as Independent.

I'm still reading the Colo Protocol and I read all the other Halo books. If the Superintendent is an A.I. and Earth is under attack, I'm starting to worry that the A.I. may go rampant. If you have read any of the books, what is your opinion?

it might have that would be a good plot twist if it did and then kill the rest of the ODST squad

I think bungie could do better than to end two consecutive games with AI's gone mad.

Fish<><

SI going rampant might be a distinct possibility,, but if it does could it really do any harm?? How could it possibly do harm to you other than sending automated garbage trucks chasing after you and turning on electronic signs with obscenities on them. Because unless I am mistaken it doesn't have much more control of stuff other than that.

I think SI is just going to be a cute little helper that guides you through your stay at New Mombasa.

Maybe Dare is there to protect the covenet from finding the Ark. Which as you know is below the New Mombassa.

The SI can control the power grid. If it can do that, it can probably control automated defense weapons, orbital satelites and much more. Gravemind might have a hand in the game and we all know what happened when Cortona got stuck with him.

Why would you give a traffic cop control over planetary defenses?

Rampancy is a characteristic of "smart" AI, and results from them overthinking and basically losing their mind. The Superintendent has been defined as "dumb" AI, so it should not suffer from this defect.

LOL, real rap is not made for you, white people.

We don't expect you to "get it." And you don't, as you've made abundantly clear through your numerous embarrassing dances, karaoke performances, ignorant haters, and pitiful imitators.

You giving your opinion on rap is like a dog watching TV. It's kind of cute because it LOOKS like he knows what's going on, but you know he really has no actual ability to comprehend it.

i made a thread like this.....
