Don't even try to pronounce my name.

no offense toward staten and his writing style but contact harvest was not as gripping as all the others. nor was protocol.

I thought they were both great.

The only one that I didn't like was the piece of garbage fan fiction called "The Flood".

I hated that book. I wont ever read it again. I could get the same story just by playing halo c.e.

I can't say I completely agree. While I might say it's my second least favourite book, I found Jenkins' cruel fate to be compelling to read about. Pretty much anything that wasn't actually in the game did interest me.

First Strike is just my favouritest. Favouritest of favouritest. Of favouritest. Perhaps because the moral at the end just kinda clicked with me. Ghosts of Onyx is also equally great, and has its own great ending moral, though not so blatantly spoken as in First Strike.

Perhaps that's why some might find Cole Protocol and Contact Harvest less compelling. The lack of moral fiber.

You are right about the interesting side stories, its just that to me those stories were too bogged down by the main line, which is halo c.e.

One of those too much cake and not enough icing.
