IGNORE THE DAMN GAMERTAG! It's my brother's. Feel free to spam him with messages. >:)

Yeah, I'm not complaining about more Halo's, but I really want to see what Bungie could come up with after making Halo for so long.

I might understand if Halo: Reach is a completely new game different from Halo, but I doubt that from viewing the trailer. Anyone care to explain?
So you've come to the conclussion that Halo: Reach is just another Halo game, just by watching a planet?

Well, near the trailer's end, a voice says: "This is Sierra 320. You have Spartans on the ground sir. We're not going anywhere". The fact that Spartans were mentioned, and the fact that Reach is a planet mentioned in the Halo novels, I highly suspect Halo: Reach has something to do with Halo.

The game won't be part of the trilogy. It happens prior to all the halo's and whoever you play as will be different than the chief. The game itself could be completely different too. Everyone is still interested in the halo universe. There is no reason to not make a new halo game. I think after Reach though, it might be time to stop.

Yeah, but I heard that they are going to keep Halo a trilogy, so why change their mind? Halo 3 is as sucessful any game could be. Once there are more games, everyone will forget Halo 3, just like Halo 2.

Read Halo: The Fall Of Reach. And you hear Lord Hood mention the planet Reach in Halo 2.

It appears Bungie is pulling a George Lucas on us.

"Bungie controls everything. You have no rights. Play nice."

For the last time its TURRETS not TORRENTS. A TORRENT is either a peer to peer file sharing protocol or a violently fast stream of water. A TURRET is a self-contained weapons platform housing guns and capable of rotation. And TURRENT isn't even a word.

What I don't get is where people get the idea that Halo 3 was supposed to be the last Halo game. Bungie never said that. EVER. What they did say was that Halo 3 was the end of the trilogy, of that particular story arc That story arc being the "stop the covenant from setting off the Halos" arc.

They could make a new trilogy based around the chief if they wanted to, but chances are it would have to do with that planet in the legendary ending. Chances are it would have nothing to do with stopping a Halo from firing.

ODST is an expansion to the trilogy as well as adding the gametype Firefight into the Halo universe. Whatever Reach turns out to be, since it is not part of the Halo 1-3 arc, Bungie has not mislead us at all. The fact that we tend to overreact, misinterpret, and read too much into things is no fault of Bungie's.

So somehow Bungie is pulling a George Lucas by making a game (a short campaign) around ODSTs (which has been a strong request from the fanbase) and also by including craploads of extra content with the game?

And Halo: Reach, how is making a possible game out of the biggest battle in the Human/Covenant war just 'dishing' out games? Reach was a major place in the Haloverse.

Money.

I am usually fine with Bungie's actions, but Halo: Reach better have a different Multiplayer than Halo 3 and ODST. Dishing out another campaign expansion after ODST for another $60 is taking it a bit too far.

Not true. Over one million people still play Halo 3, and it's almost the 2nd year since release. I don't think the release of Halo 3: ODST or Halo: Reach will hinder the players by a severe amount. Possibly, 10,000-20,000, maybe more, maybe less, but most likely not too much.

Jesus loves you, but everyone else thinks you're a twat.

ok its pretty simple, halo 1/2/3 are a trilogy oh the master chiefs story. Halo: Reach wont be following MC (just a guess) so they can get away with not calling it apart of the trilogy.

also after halo 3 Bungie left Microsoft and left the halo name too Microsoft so chances are they were not 100% sure Microsoft would let them make another halo game.

The end of the halo trilogy was talking about master chiefs trilogy not the halo franchise. Halo universe is massive and I wouldnt mind if all they did were halo games.

Don't jump to conclusions, where did Bungie say Halo: Reach was a campaign expansion?

Since there's going to be a beta test of Halo: Reach (presumably multiplayer), I think it is safe to assume that the multiplayer will be different.

Well, Beyonce's new song is titled "Halo", and I don't see a Master Chief anywhere in that music video...

Not true. I believe it is mentioned that all the other surviving Spartans were trapped somewhere. So Master Chief is probably the only active Spartan alive.

Check my masterpiece here.

Bungie has made Halo's story too complicated to stop. Below the main storyline of Humans and Covenant and Flood, there is an intricate web of stories of the Forerunners and the Precursers.

They can't simply leave all our questions about Halo's universe unanswered. That would be cruel. I'm not saying they will never make a different game besides Halo, but, I think, they will continue to make new Halos for quite some time. That's fine by me! =D
