This is just a theory, but too many of you have whacko theories. OTHER THAN THAT, I think it's spectacular that Bungie is pressing on with Halo's canon by prequelling the trilogy.
I've never read the books, and I use wikia's and other such online resources to cliff-note the beginning. But here's the best question: If bungie starts prequelling Halo, and the interaction and effects (sheer technological leaps and bounds) outweigh Halo 1 & 2, will they consider revamping or completely redoing the first two?
ALSO, will Bungie add/remove details otherwise outlined in the novels when they build Halo: Reach?
Will Bungie use this as a way of giving us more background not only on John 117, but the government, Space Marines, other Spartans, so on and so on?
