Subject: Other retail version?!

Hi,

To get to the point: I'm not so happy with Halo 3: ODST costing 60 euros/dollars (or 35 pounds) !!!!

I don't another disk with the whole halo 3 multiplayer! I already have it twice! (LE=scratched, so bought a new copy) I also have all maps yet available. why do I need to pay for that again!!??? :(

Can't they just make a version with only the ODST disk (ODST campaign + Firefight) and put a code for the 3 new maps in the box?? seems more logical to me.

M$ only wants our money!

Or can we get a price reduce whenshowing our Halo 3 copy??
would be more fair, than paying for the whole thing again (halo 3 multiplayer + maps)

what do you think??

You are completely right. I'm either going to get it used, or not get it at all.
I wish, like you said, they would make one with just the disk and Fire Fight mode.

Proud frenchie, elite fan, anthro artist not hellbent on yiff convention/pics/whatever, mature and intelligent forum guy, 4chaner, halo 2 lover and halo 3 hater.

I think the game is full enough to be priced like that. I mean, a horde mode alone justifies that price.

also, I have not bought ANY map packs so far. so I guess it's fair.
but dude, about M$ wanting our money ... it's old, old news.

I know the campaign and firefight extremely awesome, but this was going to be an expansion pack. add new things for a lower price than a complete game.

I know the H3 multiplayer was said to be in the package, but that was long before Firefight was revealed (probably before they even wanted to put it in)

I guess (at very very least) 9 out of 10 who gets Halo 3: ODST has bought a Halo 3 copy. whether it's broken or sold again.

that's not a good reason for me to put an extra disk in the ODST package with the H3 multiplayer on it. I'm getting the feeling it is put in so they can raise the price to a full game price (which is 60 bucks)

one disk with ODST campaign and firefight + a code for the 3 new maps

that would make more sense

Buckle Up: It's makes it harder for the Covenant to suck you up.

Hey! Look on the bright side! You have a extra disk in case you lose/scratch your current one! =D

As a great man has said before "..." That is where the truth lies my friends

Not everyone that plays Halo has XBL so the disc with everything on it is for those people.

Business is business. If you can't afford the game, don't buy it.

all good points, but most of the people do have bought maps already. I can afford the game, yes I can, but there are other things (like going out and other games) I use my money for.
But I don't like to pay for something I already have :S

bungie truly deserves the money, but 60 bucks for a add-on! there not doing that with WoW too, are they? only need to se how many things they put in to it! I can't Bungie does this, so it's M$ milking the money out of us!

(yeah I know I'm frustrated (is also because of other things))
