Ok so you know when you install Halo 3 to your hard drive it makes things slower.

Will ODST be like that?

Mike Lowery: [singing] Bad boys, bad boys what ya gonna do? What ya gonna do when we come for you?
[Marcus starts ad-libbing the first verse]
Mike Lowery: Dude, you gotta learn the words.
Marcus Burnett: We usually only do the chorus

good Q

I am pretty sure that when you install any game to your hard drive it gets slower.

the advantage is that your xbox is quiet and you don't have to change discs.

correct me if i am wrong =]

Mythical Group

There is no greater catharsis than arguing on the Flood.

I wouldn't do it anyways. Halo 3 has one of the fastest and most direct transion of events in any game of it's time.

i wouldn't do it even if it didn't.

Check out the group, Planet Reach and talk about Bungie's next game without the annoyance of the public forum. Oh and it's nice there too.

You thought you had lag, it took Jesus 3 days to re-spawn.

I think that depends. The only reason Halo 3 wold have been worse was because of multiplayer. I assume that ODST would be fine since multiplayer is on separate disk. But if Firefight has a matchmaking it wont work.

coffee is the life-blood that fuels the dreams of champions

i think i read somewhere that the game was optimized for the hard drive. im assuming that means it runs nicely when installed. maybe not though

No xbox made it to improve load times as well...and because every thing on a HD should run better but they said the way Halo 3 was made it wouldn't. So don't do it lol.

Remember Reach!

I wouldn't install it... So far, Fable II is the only game I know of that is strongly affected by an install... I couldn't play it because it froze and then I installed it and it played perfectly... Bungie does a way better job of putting games on discs so I wouldn't worry about it at all!

Maybe I will never be
All the things that I wanna be
But now is not the time to cry
Now's the time to find out why
I think you're the same as me
We see things they'll never see
You and I are gonna live forever

I wouldn't think so.

Good players work together...and no matter how good you are, you're not physic. - blade6321

Probably not since it's working so heavily off of what Halo 3 started.
