I just saw the new stick/button layout for Halo 3: ODST and was wondering if you can configure it to a setting similar to Bumper Jumper?

Chill, it's all gonna work out in the end. You can still get it. But if not, don't freak out, it's not that big of a deal.

it would also be odd if they left it in. odst units don't have the same leaping ability as the chief.

i'm with you though. i use the bumper jumper layout. it's what i have grown accustom to using.

It actually is. It took me a few hours of playing to get used to...I don't want to get used to regular again and then have to switch back again.

Yes I think it will be in the game. I remeber seeing a video where the B button was the action button. Which points to Bumper Jumper most likely being in ODST.

Now you sound like Alexander Ovechkin. Don't whine about little things. If it doesn't happen ( which I highly doubt) it's not going to end the world.

It would be probably worse to use bumper jumper because you'll be wasting stamina jumping by accident. I use bumper jumper, but I got no problem going back to default

Yeah hopefully Bumper Jumper will be there and, if I were to play ODST too much I'll be used to default in H3 and do horrible in games :(

yes it does I played it yesterday and they let us change the controls and I personally played on bumper jumper.
I'm just copy and pasting from other threads from the last hour asking the same question there is your answer

Were it so easy.

They will. They would be stupid not to include the other controller layouts.

you can do the six primary actions in the game without moving a finger from any button:

jump, melee, shoot, grenade, aim/zoom, move/crouch

on every other layout, you have to move your thumb off the right stick to either melee or jump, therefore not letting you aim while doing it.

it's a VERY small advantage, mind you, but once you get used to it, it helps.
