Before you overreact and say "Nuuu skullz r cul". I like the option of having skulls enabled and it will make a fun experience but what if you want firefight to be bare. Just your own will and no effects (well except the mandatory tough luck). I just hope there will be an option to turn it off if you want to see how you do without random effects.

I have no hate on having skulls but just wondering what you think about an option.

Tough luck.

See what I did there?

The skulls add a challenge, and challenges are good. It'd be too easy if the "difficulty" never really changed.

I do not appreciate B.Net Group solicitation. If you ignore this and send me an invitation anyway, I will block communications with you.

I think that the whole point of Firefight is to go in knowing that every set is going to be increasingly more difficult, so I think that it won't matter. But, I like having options, so here's to hoping.

Check out the group, Planet Reach and talk about Bungie's next game without the annoyance of the public forum. Oh and it's nice there too.

You thought you had lag, it took Jesus 3 days to re-spawn.

Well then it would get quite boring. No changing of strategy, no extra difficulty, and not nearly as fun. I have no clue why you would want the game to be bare and with no change.

I mean, I'm all for options, but I don't see why anyone would do it.

You don't turn the skulls on, they come up by themselves as you progress in every wave.

I think they should have put a button in the menu so you could turn the ability to have changing skulls on/off.

But all in all now you won't have to play with friends for a prcatice game before matchmaking. You could just play that.

I dont get it why Tough Luck will always be on. Didn't Bungie just say skulls and enemies are random so you will have different matches? Enemies jumping around all the time dodging explosions doesn't sound necessary.

In my opinion an option to turn off scoring and all the skulls, including tough luck, would make the firefight mode even more awesome than it already appears. Personally I perfer to play the HALO 3 campaign without skulls (except for occasional uses of IWHBYD and Grunt Birthday Party for the laughs), and I think Firefight would be more enjoyable for me without the skulls on. The idea of having skulls turn themselves on is a good one though, and should be the default for firefight, but an option to play without them (and without scoring) wouldn't hurt and for some pepole (myself included) would be an enhancement.
