Is more weapons, i mean seriously the more they add the less value each individual weapon has. Its frustrating having like 8 guns that do the exact same thing. They need to give weapons personality.

In halo 2, the rocket launcher had a lock on system.

Halo 3 took a weapon that may have been a little strong(that could have been tuned down) and turned it into two separate weaker weapons.

Its pointless, please stop doing it Bungie your turning Halo into Modern Warfare

and this is why we have custom games, and MLG playlist, if you want to play MM with only a BR then you have MLG just for you, if you want to have some fun, and make every match a little different, like i do, and i know scores of other people do, bring on the new weapons along with the old, makes every match something different, and doesn't get repetitive, then you get normal slayer and other gametypes.

I totally agree.

Halo CE was beautiful because every weapon had its purpose; the bare minimum.

*note: Im not much for MLG; they suck the fun right out

Yes lets just have 3 guns, one a fully auto rifle Another a shotgun and one a rocket launcher. Also what is with the grenade types there's way to many to choose we should just have one. Also there's way to many armor choices just make every one the same, oh and another thing whats with all these maps? We only need one. Also what the heck is with all these play lists are you kidding me jam them all into one playlist.

Please don't get the wrong idea, i dislike MLG greatly and am not advocating their "version" of Halo. I am merely saying that bungie is taking every weapon role they created and turning it into a class of weapons that are slightly difference but do the same thing.

The rocket launcher is not weak but the process in how they changed it stripped a key part of its identity, at least in my opinion.
That tracking system was so fun to use while Halo 3's missile pod is bulky and just acts like garbage. The missiles don't look cool, they look geometric and angular

you ever think there was a reason they got rid of the tracking system in H2. Yea lets lock onto another warthog, while driving in the passenger of another one, by getting rid of the locking system on the RL it equalized the playing fields by the vehicles not being blown up every 5 seconds. The missle pod gives vehicles a slight chance of surviving unlike in H2, you would, atleast now if the enemy has a missle pod, its not an automatic sure kill, unlike in halo 2 you were able to have a much greater range of motion, taking out the main reason vehicles had an advantage to infantry in the first place.

Did you play halo:CE? That rocket did not lock on and that rocket rocked.

Halo2 the rocket required minimal skill, they just returned the rocket back to the original so that you need skill to lead a hog all the way across the map.

The missile pod or lock on rockets are required as anti-air weapons to stop the banshee dominating.

but I also wouldn't advocate bringing in more weapons on top of the Halo3 sandbox
