look, I get that every one wants to play as the chief, but seriously, he traveled in time? seems a little far fetched. maybe he'll just make an appearance, since he was at reach. however, since bungie's already doing a game without MC, they'll probably try to do the same wit reach.

Clearly you have no frame of reference. Donny, you're out of your element. Read Halo: The Fall of Reach then come back and make some sense.

But I agree that the time travel theories are annoying. There is no time travel. Chief is saving us. Not Doc Brown and McFly.

Reach needs to be patched. It's the truth.

MC was on Gamma station destroying NAV data during the Battle of Reach. Then he left for Halo

okey doke. well, anyway, i really don't think he's gonna time travel.

MC probably won't be making an appearance as a NPC. They WILL probably make some interesting references to him though.

He'd better not. Him doing so might result in some serious shark jumping. Time travel is a sci-fi cliché, and it's one which doesn't even actually make sense. Halo doesn't need it and would probably be better off without it.

*facepalm*

The Chief did not travel back in time. This is a prequel game. This happens before Halo CE. In fact, the Pillar of Autumn escaped from this Battle to the Halo in Halo CE.

Read this now.

Armor Lock isn't overpowered. You just suck at Reach :)

Reach isn't bad, you're just a BK :)

For my gamertag, look up "Ghoulishtie"

I agree. This new time-travel theory is just completly stupid.

Saying that this happens before Halo CE does not prove he didn't travel back in time just so you know.

Also, am I the only one who noticed that the firey circles that are visible in the trailer look EXACTLY like the ones on the planet at the end of Halo 3?
