Halo 3 was a great game, The features were brilliant, pure genious (Editor and saved films) the multiplayer wasnt bad, It took me two years to realise, even if somone is garbage, all they need is a good connection to win. the Single player was pretty good, Too short though.
But were i REALLY REALLY think they went wrong was the achievements, Now i have NO idea If bungie make them, or microsoft, but they were kinda garbage. Gears of war Seriously... 50G. An achievement over 400 hours of gameplay, for 50G. It kept me playing the game to get it, kept me playing for two years.
I got ALL of halo 3's achievements, 7 days after release. So what if i asked for help with the Steppin Razor and Two for oneAchievement, but i mean, jesus christ, That assassination achievement, 50G for Pressing B three times. There was no achievement that kept me playing for a long time, Just the amazing game.
Bungie, Please give me a reason to play the multiplayer for AGES. now when i say this, i dont mean make an achievement for becoming a general, Because you can LOOSE skill, and slowly drift away from it, but 10,000 kills on GOW, Once you had the kills, they were there forever. Get creative please, Make players STRUGGLE for achievements. And something else that buggered me, The katana.
The 49 oringal achievements were HARDER than the DLC. the DLC was pretty much the Katana, My friend looked up to me because i had the katana and he didnt (I know what a Looser) and when the DLC came out, he thought he earned it, and when his friends were bragging about getting the katana, he said he was pissed, because they shouldnt have it. What a hippocrit. But im sorry for making me sound like i HATE halo, Because i LOVE it.
So come on bungie, Please, Give us some TIME CONSUMING Achievements, Nothing like "Double Double 25G", But im also not saying go out an copy seriously, SOMETHING, that will keep us playing. How about 2500 EXP? Or Headshots, I dont know, Just something.
