You all are being slightly stupid. The OP's point had nothing to do with your precious BR's.

I'm going to ask that you not make broad, sweeping generalizations around me. Or I might start to consider you a troll. And I hate trolls. *brandishes shotgun*

And you're wrong, because the BR's presence in Halo 3 ODST is a big part of his complaint (is it a complaint?). So don't tell us how to react please. And I'll try not to find and hurt you.

lol

To be fair, I called you all "slightly" stupid.
The OP was making a nostalgic inference about how similar ODST is to Halo:CE. He was being wistful about the potential to play CE again in modern form, with all of the classic guns and quirks that the original had.

His point didn't really have anything to do with the BR, besides noting how close ODST could get to CE if the BR was replaced with the pistol.

Context, people.

Ironically, Halo:CE had the most "balance."

Mizzou 2009-2010 Starting Line-up

Point Guard: Zaire Taylor (Senior)
Guard: J.T. Tiller (Senior)
Forward: Kim English (Sophomore)
Forward: Laurence (Junior)
Forward: Keith Ramsey (Senior)

First of all, the pistol is a Halo 2 pistol with a scope, not the Halo 1 pistol. The BR has not been confirmed as being gone (but I hope it is), and if they were trying to be fair, they wouldn't make a pistol as fast as the Halo 2 one as accurate as the Halo 1 pistol. They also wouldn't put a zoom on the SMG. Fairness doesn't matter in the campaign, which is all ODST is. If the Halo campaigns were fair, the Grunts wouldn't be one-hit kills, and Jackals wouldn't snipe you at every corner.
