When reading about FireFight this morning and be in such awe over this new gametype, it came to mind that this sounded alot like Horde from GoW2. Originally Horde was so much fun. My group of friends and I would go and play and it would be like three hours later. However, after about two and a half weeks to three weeks of playing Horde, it lost its appeal because it was the same thing over and over again. Bungie, do you have a way to maintain the appeal of FireFight that Epic didn't do with Horde?

An idiot got away with doing incredibly idiotic things because a group of idiots and their idiot leader put this one idiot in charge of a good amount of idiots who did whatever the idiot wanted done, and ordered around their own group of idiots. It's an idiot parade, and the leader totes a .44 magnum into war.

Larger maps, random waves of enemies, and vehicular combat.
I think those will keep the appeal.

Well, I reckon the appeal will come entirely from the gameplay itself. Halo's style of gameplay is just so... good. I can't stop playing it. In fact, I have owned the same copy of Halo CE for the last seven years, and I still play it regularly. In fact, the only thing that puts me off is having to play through the Campaign levels in order to play it. Having Firefight in ODST will erase that issue entirely.

With Halo at least we won't be able zoom in with the longshot and actually see the enemies spawn.. lul.
