Bungie or Microsoft:
(I hope the NXE install feature is fixed for this game.)

Please read before voting!

Instructions:

1. Install Halo 3 ODST on the Xbox360.
2. Then Play it on the harddrive.
3. Remove Halo 3 ODST's Disc
4. While Playing Halo 3 ODST (on the Hard drive), Insert Halo 3's Disc.
5. An Option will appear, Something like "Copy Halo 3 Campaign maps to Halo 3 ODST".
6. Press A for Yes!
7. Enjoy!

Edit: or as a Halo 3 ODST game option (once Installed), on the NXE Dashboard.

This would be much easier than having to switch discs & we could benefit from ODST's updated UI.

It would be handy if you wanted to switch from ODST to Halo 3, but otherwise is a needless feature. Switching discs isn't that difficult or time consuming.

I dont know where this is, but it has been said that this will be the case, that the maps will be copied to the harddrive. For use with MP games, but you would not need the Halo cd as Matchmaking will be a option just like in HALO 3. So no need for changing cd (Apart from if you want to do the HALO mission again) I think it was said that that you would have to have the ODST cd to use the MP maps. So it would not be a case that you could copy the maps on to hard drvie then not bother keeping the cd. So no given your mate the maps!

But this is all guess work!

Remember Reach!

Wait a minute... I'm not sure if this is going to answer the question or not... You don't need the Halo 3 disc anymore except for Campaign when you buy Halo 3: ODST... It comes with 2 discs: the disc that has the campaign on it and a disc that has Halo 3 Multiplayer as well as all of the maps that have been released and three new ones. You don't need to install anything because you should save that space for the Halo: Reach beta... I'm running out of space as it is!!

It says all of this at the link below:

or, we could insert the second disc that comes with ODST, all of the maps are on that.

Oh, and no they shouldn't have this feature because it isn't really necessary. You just have to put in the Multiplayer disc that comes with Halo 3: ODST and not worry about it!
