Lights Out: Dirty Girl Part 2, best song ever.

After seeing project Natal and milo a lot of ideas popped into my head and me and my friend were discussing it. Would Bungie ever use Natal in one of the games?

Here is what we were thinking:

Say you start a game looking for a gun and you come across a lonely brute and you want to take his weapon. Then there is like a Natal sequence where you actually get into hand to hand combat with the brute using natal. Does anybody think this would be cool?

No way, not at all. Please, stick to the controllers for now.

Yeah it is really far fetched but if they could pull it off it would be badass

All roads lead to Sol.

Marathon remake with the Nuckledusters.

I win. Forever.

well, i don't really know.

hopefully in a non-FPS game. i just don't think we could figure out a way to work everything out.

movement, vision, reloading, actions, certain sequences.... it just seems like we'll need more time to work on Natal before we could get a half decent FPS from it.

Natal is quite obviously a gimick, and Bungie doesn't do gimicks*har*, besides ODST deffinatly wont have support for it because Natal does come out for a while

What IS Natal? I've heard it being said but I don't know what it is.

What me and my friends thought of was more of a Natal sequence. By this I mean you play the game with a normal controller, but every so often there is a "Natal Sequence" and that when you would use it.

microsoft's new way of gaming, "no controller required" basically it's like the Wii but without a "Wii-mote"

it's a camera, and you use your body as the controller.

All roads lead to Sol.

Turning left and right is easy just turn left slightly and use a toy gun. take the Toy gun as the focus point if you bend down with the gun the screen pans down. Turn slightly left or sirght then the screen moves left or right.

I hope not, I hate the Wii in my opinion and Project Natal reminds me of the Wii, get the picture?

Let Sgt. Johnson die on Halo.

Natal looks really fishy to me. I don't think it'll be great as everyone says it is.

I actually disagree with you. The Wii's motion sensor uses a "wii-mote". Project Natal uses a camera witch allows the user to use his or her whole body and scan objects into the game. Completely different in my opinion.

Remember Reach!

I don't think it should be used as the be all, end all controller. I think it should be used in addition to the regular 360 controller. It would be cool to use the voice recognition in Halo or something but not much else. I think Bungie could think of something to do with it but I'm just glad that they don't HAVE to use it.

Hand to hand combat reminded me of Mortal Kombat

Motion Sensors is a similarity. I hate motion sensors and controllers are much better.

Like the user above stated i do not want Natal to be the main controller like in the Wiis case. I want there to be "Natal Sequences" or Natal specific games. If Natal becomes the main controller, then its just not right.
