All roads lead to Sol.

Just wondering, Will Bungie do a "Friends and Family" type thing for the Halo: Reach beta like they did for Halo 3?

For those who don't know or Remember. Bungie gave out about 10,000 Invitations to the Halo 3 Beta for Friends and Family and regulars on Bungie.net.

They got to play it about 2 Weeks earlier than Crackdown players and People who applied for it by playing Halo 2 Online sometime in February back in 2007.

I Applied for it and bought Crackdown just in case and then the Bungie gods Favoured me and gave me an Invitation for the "Friends and Family Halo 3 Beta", Which I still have the Message and Code from the Disembodied Soul.

So I was wondering will Bungie do something like this again?
And will previous "Friends and Family" be able to qualify for another one?

\/ Oh I will be! But I was wondering if they will release the Beta early for Friends and Family, if they decide they will do something like that again. \/

This would be a good time to point out that the US Government seriously did consider nuking the moon during the Cold War as a show of force. Project A119.

"A large explosion on the Terminator line would put the sun behind the mushroom cloud, making the explosion visible with the naked eye from Earth."

Then the US decided they'd just send in Neil Armstrong to land on it. Neil Armstrong - the one man on the earth that was considered a suitable replacement for a nuclear missile.

I was wondering the same thing. Although I never got the FoF invitation, I really enjoyed the Beta. I actually liked it more than the actual multiplayer. The trip mine was stronger, the spikers were awesome, SMG was amazing, and the sweet taste of a new multiplayer was incredible.

Yes, Spikers were the Noob combo of the Beta. Lulz were had.

I'd kill someone if they did that again. -_-
I know I wouldn't be chosen by the almighty Soul.

They probably will do that again for Reach, but it hasn't been confirmed, to my knowledge.

i think they will, as for they late comers who say just buy odst, the friends and family got to play 2 weeks in advance of the crackdown code, which means you could play it for a lot longer than those who brought the code via crackdown!!!!

Real question, will it actually hepl the matchmaking process when its finally released, cause halo 3's code wasnt the best -LAG fest

Then there are the people who poop in the mash potatoes. Those people get launched out on their asses.

Thats a good question. Although they are releasing beta invite via ODST sales, they very well may include a F&F thing again.

Maybe they could do it different, like give it to people who are active in the community and stuff. I remember last rime a lot of inactive people got them and never even used them. My friend who only comes on like once a year got one, he didn't notice it though and ended up buying Crackdown though, but still.
